PēCHē Skin : A Review

What’s goodie queens! I am elated to be able to share this brand with you all as I am all for women being entrepreneurs.

Here’s the backstory:

I met Jessica of PēCHē Skin at a local event (if you’re nosy and want to know which event click here to quench your curiosity, I will not judge). She had the cutest and brightest set up, so you know I had to stop by her table. She told me the inspiration behind her brand and I was blown away. Her son was affected by eczema at a young age, Jessica opted to make her own products on the suggestion of her husband in order to soothe her sons skin. After experimenting and researching she found what worked and her son’s skin did much better than the expensive treatment options prior. Jessica told me she has tested her products out on family and friends and that she has a few other skin care items in the works. I was enamored by the personal touch and attention to detail she gave her products. I knew I was walking away with something honey!

I tried out her body butters which I call Body Butter Spritz because they came in a travel sized pump spray bottle unlike other body butter. I liked the fact that I did not have to dip my finger into a jar but just spray and rub. I smelled a few scents but the one that caught my attention was the Rose Peach. It just smelled so heavenly and reminded me of the summer ahead. So I copped that at an affordable price of $10 and a few samples of soap and body scrub for free.99.

As far as how the body butter spritz performed, it was great! It moisturized my skin and gave me a nice healthy sheen without a greasy or heavy feeling. Its light enough to wear on its own or layer with any perfume. I got many compliments and questions about it. I recommend Rose Peach as the best summer scent. The spritz performs well in the summer time but I would opt for the jar packaging during cooler months since the product does solidify at lower temperatures. However, I have my eye on the Hawaiian Coconut Body Butter for the cooler months and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store.
