Who are you and what do you stand for?

The person I am is always evolving, but in one word I would describe myself as ambitious. I am always thinking of ways to improve myself and the world around me. As I continue my education my ideas, solutions, and innovation grows wilder. I am fortunate to have so many people who support me in everything I do but not everyone is blessed in this same way, so I stand for sharing my education and resources with young girls with ideas like me!

Who in your life was the most influential in leading you to become the person you are today?

Just about any person that has crossed my path has influenced the person I am today. I believe with each season I face the Lord places right people around me to succeed in whatever I’m striving for in that moment. However, my mom and sister would be tied for the person who has influenced me the most because they encourage me to make my own mistakes while teaching about theirs.

Describe your personal style.

I can’t say I have a particular personal style because I truly love being inspired by other people. When I see an amazing outfit on other people I often take a snapshot in my head and later recreate it but adjusting it to my comfort zone.

Who or what inspires/motivates you?

I am pretty self-motivated. I dream vividly and my dreams give me the fuel to chase the things I want and deserve. Everyone deserves the “big house and cars” if they are bold enough to chase it and I’m not sure what my parents fed me as a baby but I definitely have a push within me that keeps me going. Like a normal person, I have moments of discouragement but then I call on my faith and pray for the strength and wisdom to carry on.

What is your morning/night routine?

Morning Routine (on an ideal day): *Stumble out of bed*, hop in the shower, spend too long in the shower because I’m deciding the meaning of life, change into fresh PJs, then jump back into bed and internet surf to find the materials for my next big idea and/or venture.

Night Routine:

1. Wash my face

2. Find a snack

3. Combine the ideas from my morning’s shower with whatever materials I found so I can work through the feasibility of my ideas. I would consider myself a night owl. I spend most of my night working on homework, personal goals, editing videos, or “tossing and turning” drafting new ideas in my head.

If you came home one day and your living room was filled from floor to ceiling with pineapples. What do would you do?

Initially, I would be concerned but cautiously begin to look for how they may have got here. If the coast is clear I would ask one of my siblings to taste test one and if it’s 10 out of 10 on tasty, I would proceed to eat them all!

Who are the top 3 people you follow on social media and why?

This is probably the hardest question. Off the top of my head, there aren’t three people I follow and check on regularly. However, I do enjoy the content created by Shirley B. Eniang because she is gorgeous and carries herself online how I think all girls should.

How do you maintain work/life balance?

First I pray. Second, I avoid stressing the little things, nap when needed (without regrets), and exercise when I really need my mind cleared (works almost instantaneously).

What are some of the causes you stand for?

I am striving to promote healthy self-esteem among young ladies. I believe our society is steering away from manners. We have lower expectations of how we hold one another accountable for the actions and treatments of individuals. Having a strong foundation in manners, personal value, and respect can help create a healthy self-esteem that could eventually breed growth and success.

Tell us about an embarrassing moment?

In 5th grade, I was sliding across the floor to move next to one of my friends (the class was gathered on the floor to listen to a teacher announcement) and accidently let out a fart in front of everyone. Everyone backed away from me. But luckily it didn’t smell!

What is your favorite store to shop at and why?

I would rather online shop than go to the mall because I can do it from the comfort of home and search and select specific items in my size rather than go through racks for hours on a hunt for an item that may be “out of stock”.
